- Implemented oﬄine-first caching with TanStack Query persistence + MMKV over real-time Firestore listeners, keeping the app usable and consistent on unreliable connections.
- Wrote Swift and Objective-C native modules for platform features React Native does not expose, including a bridge to the iMessage composer with a JavaScript fallback path.
- On Timeline, gesture feel was the diﬀerentiator, so I moved animation work onto the UI thread with Reanimated worklets and used React Native Skia for the heavy custom views. 60fps held on low-end Android.
- Used React Native Firebase for data sync, authentication, and push delivery. Added Firebase App Check to keep unauthorised clients out of the API.
